Tiger Whiptail
Remarks: There are many species of unidentified Pseudohemiodon coming out of Peru, and this fantastic whiptail is one of them. They have long, slender bodies with brown and tan striations over the entire back and fins. Long filaments extend from the tips of the caudal fin. They have many whiskers around the mouth, which are used to locate food in the sand. As a defense mechanism, they will quickly bury themselves under the sand, leaving only their eyes visible.
