Tamasopo Cichlid
Remarks: Herichthys tamasopoensis is named for the Rio Tamasopo in Mexico, where they are found. There, these predominantly white fish scrape aufwuchs off of rocks. These fish require a diet that consists mostly of vegetable matter so as not to induce bloating. During courtship, these fish turn nearly solid white and some develop a black throat.
