Remarks: Goyder River Rainbows (Melanotaenia trifasciata) come from the Northern Territory of Australia. Goyder River Rainbows have red fins with a blue stripe, while other variants of M. trifasciata have different color patterns.
These fish are omnivorous and should be fed a quality flake food with supplemental proteins such as baby brine shrimp. They require clean water but tolerate a wide variety of water parameters.
