Remarks: Cupid cichlids (Biotodoma cupido) are peaceful, yellow and tan colored cichlids from the Amazon. They begin as a white fish with a large eye-spot near the base of their dorsal fin, bordered by iridescent orange scales. They also have a thin black line that travels from their forehead through their eye and into the gill plate. As they age, their fins get a pink hue and their bodies turn yellow-orange.
