Black Banded Leporinus (Leporinus fasciatus)
Remarks: Leporinus are a group of large characins with a propensity to quickly dart away or jump out of the water. They require a large tank with plenty of boulders and river rock to swim around. They appreciate a fairly strong current as well. They can show aggression towards conspecifics but with enough space, they can share a tank together. We recommend keeping them with larger South American cichilds.
