Remarks: The albino paradise gourami (Macropodus opercularis) is an albino form of the blue paradise gourami with pinkish orange and bodies. They are from southeast Asia and prefer slower moving waters. These gouramies are aggressive and nip fish with long fins so they should only be kept with fast-moving, short-finned species such as larger danios. Both males and females have color, but males will have much more color when they mature with a lot red on the body.
