Remarks: These amazing fish are famous for their large white lips, which are present in mature males. They are not very commonly imported in from Lake Malawi. The mdoka white lips (Placidochromis phenochilus) that we are selling are bred here at Imperial Tropicals. The fish we now breed were originally purchased from a dear friend of ours Ivan Rodriguez. This particular albino strain have white or slightly pink bodies and fins along with an iridescent sheen as they turn in the light.

  Since both the males and females are very similar in color, there will be no guarantee on the sexed males and females. If you choose a male or female option, we will try our best to send you the sex that you requested.
